Follow this sketch

Yes you would think I would have no trouble following
this sketch from 52 CCCT wouldn't you?

So easy but what did I come up with well this.

Not really what was asked for.
By the way that is just crystal glitter on the flower so don't know why it looks blue in places
So it was back to the drawing board.

At last I got it right.  The white card is embossed with holly and then cut up.
The holly comes from a Lucy stamp Holly square that I cut out after colouring and adding Dimensioal magic
The red card is one that I have had for 10 years or more
hidden at the back of a drawer.
The things we crafters hoard.

Am entering this in:

Thanks for dropping in you are most welcome.

  1. Two lovely cards. I like the flower on the first card. The first card's design has just flipped the sketch. I think it might still fit.

  2. I think they're both fabulous, Margaret! But I have to say I LOVE the CAS holly card--the dry embossing was a fabulous choice! Thanks for joining us at 52CCT! :)

  12. Hello Margaret - I love BOTH cards! The flourishes and sparkle on the first one are so lovely! The texture from the embossed panels and the Dimensional Magic on the berries on the second card are fab! Well done on using a card base that had been neglected for years, you just knew it would be needed one day! Thanks for always joining us at 52 {C}CT, I look forward to seeing you next week! Ruth x
