Christmas Kitty

It has been a rough couple of days here with wind and rain.
Tasmania has been hard hit especially in the North.
Though there were power outages down here in the South this morning.
I am blaming the bad light for the dreadful photo today.

This is the sketch that I was working with today.

And here is the card I made.

Have been using sketches lately because I get so little time to play
in my craftroom I don't want to waste time designing.
Ah well life wasn't meant to be easy.

I've been here before

When I was very much a beginner to blog land, and had never got the courage
to enter a challenge
this is one of the earliest cards I  ever posted.
You can see my post HERE

So when I saw this sketch on the Pals Paper Arts challenge I
thought must  really have another go at this.

07-24

I have still made a square card.

With one of my lovely Penny Black  Hedgies
He has been in the drawer waiting to come out for a while now.
I have doodled around the edge with a black pen.

Merry Monday on Thursday

I am running a little behind this week.
Well not really as I have already posted two cards this week.
How is the weather where you are?.
We have been having frosty mornings and lovely sunshine for a
few hours each day although cold the sun does help.
I have been trying to get out in the sun as
I am very low in Vit D but I am not an outdoor person.

Merry Monday wanted us to use ribbon and buttons
this week.
Not being a button sort of person I was going to pass on this
until I remembered these teeny buttons that have
been in my stash for YONKS.

It is a little hard to see as I have used acetate to which
I have stuck white glitter snowflakes.
There is pale blue snowflake paper on the inside.
This was not easy to take a photo of.
Just tiny snippets of ribbon and the teeny nave blue buttons.
Quite a simple card.

Christmas Baubles

Did I get in a mess making this before I pulled out the
glitter card.
Glue and glitter everywhere except where I wanted it.

I was following the sketch

And I chose to use the colours from the photo inspiration on

The Dies I used were
SB A2 Bracken Borders 1
and
Elizabeth craft design
Ornament Set 2
and the sentiment was by
Anna Griffin

Another Blue and White Christmas

It has been a while since the last blue and white now hasn't it?
And Snowy did so want a blue top hat.

This is a very old Hero Arts stamp but a great favorite of mine.
He stamps beautifully and is such a Happy Chappy.
The snow on the tree is flower soft with glitter added.
Now I am not normally a button person but these 2 buttons
I thought looked a bit like snow flakes and I
added a couple of rhinestones to cover the holes.
Have followed a Sketch N Stash sketch
and I chose No 42 below.

Green and White

I am really happy with myself today as I have used
some card that I have had for years and
a punched border that has lain around for ever.
So pat on the back for using up stash.
Of course I will not tell you that I have today ordered about
50 more 12 by 12 sheets of Bazzill!!!!!
Quite a CAS card today
and I think I like it.

As Merry Monday only wanted green and white the holly berries had to be white pearls
only added a little glitter at the bottom to ground the tree.

then popped another tree on the inside.
Stamped the greeting with DI Mowed Lawn

Must say I was a little dubious about the colours at first
but now I rather like how it has turned out.

I have tried a different angle.  Do love this Magnolia so

All those holly leaves have been treated to Dimensional Magic
Drop by tiny drop on the end of a tooth pick.
Then liquid pearls around.
The ribbon was from my stash and the larger holly leaves are a
Cheery Lyn die that cuts out beautifully.

Shades of White

When you start working with White it is amazing just how many
shades you can come up with.
I have made a white on white card today for the
Merry Monday Christmas challenge
I am not happy about the photo as there is too much dazzle
from the Aegeon silver embossing
but no time to take any more.

It is a poor effort of photography all round.
I will take a slap over the wrist for that.
It is a sad week this week with the death of my niece
and her funeral to attend.
So my attention has not been on my crafting I'm afraid.
